Day 1 Auckland - Bay of Islands Crossing the Harbour Bridge pass by the city's northern suburbs to reach the semi sub tropical Hibiscus Coast. Traversing the Brynderwyn Ranges enjoy the dramatic seascapes before continuing on to the city of Whangarei and Paihia in the Bay of Islands. The afternoon will be free.Suggested sightseeing may include a ferry ride to Russell or a visit to the famous Treaty House. Overnight Appledore Lodge for 2 nights Day 2 Paihia Today is free to explore this semi - sub tropical paradise. Included is a cruise through the Hole in the Rock to Cape Brett. Further sightseeing may see you exploring the early history of New Zealand at nearby Kerikeri or swimming with dolphins. Other options include tall ship sailing or taking an excursion to Cape Reinga, New Zealand's most northerly point. Day 3 Bay of Islands - Auckland This morning time will allow further sightseeing before retracing your travels to Auckland.
