Day 1 Auckland Waitomo Caves
Departing Auckland traverse Bombay Hills to the
farms of the Waikato. Follow the Waikato River, New Zealands
longest, to Hamilton before continuing on to the Waitomo Caves.
This afternoon join Lost World Adventures for 4 hours of caving
action including a series of massive abseils, climbs past fantastic
formations, glow worms and more.

Day 2 Waitomo Caves - Rotorua
Begin the day with a Black Water Rafting experience:
an exhilarating, natural, underground 'glow worm-glide'. Experience
an underground cave tubing trip close to nature's sounds, secrets
and silence. You will feel at ease with professional guides who
enjoy fun, mystery and adventure. Leaving the caves take the short
drive to through the South Waikato Country and over the Mumakau
Ranges to Lake Rotorua and the city.

Day 3 Rotorua
Todays' first stop will be for a unique Zorb.
Strapped inside this giant ball your off down hill 3 times
!!! After your Zorb experience discover the regions geothermal attractions
at Wakarewarewa. The balance of the day will be free to explore
Rotorua.
Day 4 Rotorua - Wellington
Travel south and pass through the worlds
largest man-made forest. View New Zealands geothermal power
stations and the Huka Falls before arriving in Taupo. Round Lake
Taupo to Turangi. Pass below the mighty volcanic peaks of Tongariro
National Park prior to descending to the Manawatu Plains. Journey
through the market garden towns of Levin and Otaki and past Kapiti
Island Bird sanctuary to arrive Wellington - the Nations Capital.
Overnight Wellington for 2 nights
Day 5 Wellington
Join Kapiti Adventures for a 2 hour 4 x 4-bike
experience crossing the rugged Wellington landscape, through gullies
and streams, and up the infamous cliff track. Enjoy a well-earned
refreshment break whilst taking in a spectacular view across Cook
Strait to the South Island. The balance of the day will be free.
Must see city sights include the Cable Car, Te Papa - Museum of
New Zealand, Mt. Victoria, The Beehive and Parliament Buildings.
No visit to Wellington is complete with out a visit to Courtney
Place, New Zealands leading dining and entertainment district.
Day 6 Wellington - Kaikoura
Cross Cook Strait on the Lynx Fast Ferry and cruise
through the magnificent Marlborough Sounds. Disembarking at Picton
up lift your replacement rental car. Journey across the Wairau Valley,
New Zealands premier wine producing region. Returning to the
coast the highway hugs the rugged shore to Kaikoura. On arrival
join Dolphin Encounter Kaikoura. Youll
come face to face with dolphins. Watch their antics and get fantastic
photo opportunities. Conditions permitting you will be able to go
swimming with them.

Day 7 Kaikoura Christchurch
Its up and away early this morning on your
whale-watch excursion in search of giant Sperm and Wright whales.
Later continue south over the Hunderlee Hills to Christchurch.

Day 8 Christchurch The Glaciers
Cross the Canterbury Plains on the TranzAlpine
train. Following the banks of the Waimakariri River reach the Southern
Alps and Arthurs Pass. Exiting the Otira Tunnel its on to
Greymouth. Uplift your replacement rental car at the Railway Station.
Drive through stands of native forest and over swift flowing rivers
to arrive at the Glaciers. Tonight will be at either Fox or Franz
Josef Glacier
Overnight The Glaciers for 2 nights
Day 9 Glaciers
This mornings half day glacier trip includes
a walk to the rugged terminal face of the glacier and 1 to 1½
hours exploring the lower reaches of the Glacier. Travel up the
glacier is aided by precut step-lines. This afternoon is free to
free for bush walks or a scenic flight with an on snow landing.
Day 10 Glaciers - Queenstown
Pass by pristine lakes and forests. Cross the
Haast River before climbing alongside lofty peaks and cascading
waterfalls to Haast Pass. Descending to Otago hug the shores of
Lakes Wanaka, Hawea and Dunstan to reach Cromwell. The Kawaerau
Gorge with its thundering river prelude Lake Hayes and the beautiful
resort of Queenstown

Day 11 The Crazy Kiwi Day Adventure
Todays wild adventure starts with a briefing
on the format of the Crazy Kiwi day. Then its
off for a wild Jet boat ride on the Shotover River. Just minutes
after the leaving the jet boat youre flying by helicopter
along the canyons of the Shotover River to join your rafting
trip. Hurtle down rapids and through foaming white water on your
exhilarating rafting trip. Back on dry land its time for lunch before
heading off to The AJ Hackett Nevis Bungy site. After an exciting
4WD safari you arrive at the 134 metre (442 feet) jump site, a cableway
suspended above the Nevis River. Countdown 3 2 1.......jump.
Day 12 Queenstown
A free day to relax after 11 days of activities.
However if you still wish to go hard try river sledging,
parapenting or a mountain bike excursion. Included is the Bobs
Peak gondola ride for the magnificent alpine views.
Day 13 Milford Day Excursion
Round Lake Wakatipu and cross northern Southland
to reach Te Anau. Drive through the Eglinton Valley with its hanging
glacier valleys, pristine temperate rainforest and towering peaks.
Exiting the Homer Tunnel arrive at Milford Sound. Cruise on the
Sound and inspect up close the cascading waterfalls, sea life and
towering rock faces which rise over 5000 ft. Leaving Milford retrace
your travels to Queenstown.
Day 14 Queenstown - Christchurch
Depart Queenstown via the Kawarau Gorge with its
thundering river. Pass by Cromwell and along the shores of Lake
Dunstan before traversing the Lindis Pass. Cross the Mackenzie Country
with its expanses of tussock and snow capped Southern Alps. Arriving
at Mt. Cook time allows for an optional scenic flight. Pass Lakes
Pukaki and Tekapo before travelling over the Canterbury Plains to
reach Christchurch.
